What our clients say about us

The Shoe Curator

We wanted a style that reflects our uniqueness and the legacy of the street.  I respect organisations that have good relationships with people and value people. Very talented, personable and calm in what is always a stressful time.

The Custodian

The positive impact it has had on our business having is pulling people in off the street. Element 17 specialises in these bespoke fitouts like what we have done.  we have had a huge pick up in growth from our old cafe. We are rushed off our feet every day which is down to the design, atmosphere and fitout that Element 17 has created.

Oxford Edge

I couldn't imagine dealing with all the trades people and arranging for them to come in. I would ring Steve at  Element 17 and they had it all organised for us.  An issues we would could them and they would just get it sorted.  I couldn't imagine the amount of time it takes to coordinate all of it.  it was amazing just to have Element 17 there take care of all of that.

- Ciara O’Halloran - Oxford Edge/Practice Manager

Smoke Ashburton

They bought trades, skill, expertise.  Knowing how to talk to my landlord, understanding leases, let along all the things I needed to know on how to put kitchens together and how to put ceilings in.

CECC

Element 17 challenged our thinking and we challenged their thinking but they got to know us and understand how we operated and they made sure what we got reflected who we are

Lumiere Cinema

After a tip off and recommendation from a business associate we fell into the motivated and warm lap of Element 17.

Our brief was to create two state of the art boutique cinemas situated at 26 Rolleston Avenue at the Christchurch Arts Centre whilst recognizing, embellishing the significant cultural and heritage values of that site and it’s interface with our dream to replace the Academy Cinema taken away from us in the 2011 earthquake.

From the get- go Steve was in and thereafter a trip to China for fixtures and fittings was organized to get the project rolling, it helped immensely to have his knowledge of the bread basket over there, agents, pricing discussions, shipping, translators went very smoothly. The result of that trip was a huge success for us with regard to the choice available and favourable price points. Lest it be said, a cinema operation requires many threads and much knitting to make the Lumiere ‘battle ready’ in a very competitive market, I think we exceeded that ten- fold, not only by our own standards but the reception of the public to it’s look and feel.

I’d be most happy to recommend Steve Rosling and his team at Element 17, should you wish to contact me then the Lumiere is open to view.

Element 17 Ltd were appointed to design and manage the fit outs of our two new offices in Christchurch and Kaiapoi. They were initially appointed to design and project manage our Kaiapoi offices. When it came time to proceed with our Christchurch fit out, we decided to appoint Element 17 based on our positive dealings with them up to that point. It was important that our Christchurch fit out be warm and welcoming, incorporating natural elements, in particular a large piece of Paunamu which we hold in trust for a client. The Element 17 team, led by Steve, designed a magnificent reception desk in Macrocarpa timbers where the Paunamu sits in harmony with the sustainable timber. The Element 17 team guided us through the project with professionalism, and managed the supplier relationships well. Steve has a great design aesthetic and incredible product knowledge. His team are dedicated and excellent to deal with.
