A boutique art house cinema in the heart of the Christchurch Art Centre. This Art Deco themed cinema was designed to reflect the golden era of the screen in the 1920's when style and grace where the flavour of the day. Careful thought was put into the selection of finishes in the interior right down to the bespoke design and chosen colours of the carpet. Selection of iridescent wall fabrics and art deco shaped tiles with brass mirror highlights throughout truly creates an opulent atmosphere. The espresso martini in the Bijou Bar is a great way to start or end a night out at the Lumiere.
