the radio network : christchurch

Like a number of Canterbury businesses, life for the Radio Network changed on 22 February 2011. For the next ten months the network's stations including Classic Hits and Newstalk ZB, were produced and broadcast from a motel unit.

Just before Christmas 2011 they moved into their new 1000sq.m. facility, complete with 10 production and broadcasting studios plus offices, board and meeting rooms.

The fit-out, done by Element 17 has transformed an industrial warehouse into a bright, creative and modern space.

"Element 17 came on board and did a lot of research to find out what a radio station in 2011 needed to operate – and we moved in just before Christmas completely on time"
