the shed: ashburton

Converting an old warehouse into a bar that would meet the needs of the Ashburton younger set was the objective of the Ashburton Licensing Trust when handing the task to Element 17. Making a feature of the original building such as the brick walls, rafters and concrete floor; adding graffiti style artwork and furniture with major use of old railway lines; and the conversion neatly melds both the old and the new.
