CDC wanted to accommodate up to 40 staff in light, bright open plan offices using local materials and manufacturers' fittings where possible. There was also a desire to make it a fun and "funky" place to work.

With cathedral ceilings and limited natural light; skylights, new windows and internal glass partitioning were used to ensure maximum natural light on workstations. There is extensive use of macrocarpa throughout, as a lighting feature, and as furniture including the reception area. Locally made guest chairs with an extensive use of planters complements the overall effect.

  • Open Plan with Sit Stand desks
